Abstract More and more Internet processes look and feel like research processes. The methods are often embedded directly into real purchase and use situations and thus are more closely tied to actual economic behavior than traditional research methods can be. Embedded research methods include: product reviews, collaborative filtering and attribute trade-offs. Details are presented.
